The tallest monolith. One twist, parted at the top.

The idea
Zen looks for stillness in motion: each piece is a monolith, turned once around its own axis. The twist replaces all ornament.
What remains are planes that let the light wander slowly.
The six pieces

The tallest monolith. One twist, parted at the top.

Folded like paper, still as stone.

A flame in stone.

The head bows. Nothing more is needed.

Squat, twisted, immovable.

The garden stone. Lined up, a bed of gravel.
The army
Scale & facts
Flat bases, a low center of gravity, planes with grip. Zen is built to playing scale, calm in the hand.

Material & glaze
Both parties carry a fine crackle: dark ink green against pale celadon. No two crack patterns are alike.
